Global Impact Competition 2015 – orientation meeting and introductory workshop

Welcome to the orientation meeting and introductory workshop.

The goal of the meeting is to provide detailed, first hand information about the competition: who can apply, how to apply, what kind of projects can be presented, what are competitors, what is the award and many others.

In the first part, you will get feeling what it means to be part of SU project and will learn how to win the competition – right from the last year winner Paweł Jarmołkowicz (https://www.facebook.com/MeetHarimata.

Our guest will be Patrick McCullough.

Patrick is now in his 4th year working with Singularity University.  He is currently in charge of production for the Team Project Videos where they make 20 films in 8 days.  Patrick is an award winning filmmaker who started up his summer camp business, Filmmakers Ink, 11 years ago.  He’s added creative arts and science to his offerings over the years.  Patrick works in Budapest with startups on their Media and Message when he’s not acting in films such as the recent Houdini, opposite Adrien Brody and the upcoming Childhood of a Leader  with Robert Pattison and Tim Roth.

In the Second Part of the evening Partick will run the workshop for (almost) declared competition participants. The workshop will be geared to find and exercise presence and flow – the necessary qualities for those who want be convincing in front of the Jury.

The event is organized as LifeScience Klaster Open Space meeting and is connected with Global Impact Competition 2015 project (follow the link below to find more details and documents), organized in cooperation with Singularity University.
