Małopolska Innovation Festival 2013

The Małopolska Innovation Festival is an event hosting the representatives of academic and business environment that facilitates their cooperation and brings tangible benefits to both parties. It will take place on 3-7th June 2013 in Kraków, Poland. The main purpose of the Festival is to promote the technology transfer, innovations and entrepreneurship, as well as to exchange of experiences, knowledge and good practices among participants.
The target group of the Festival includes entrepreneurs, academics, students and business support institutions. There are plenty of events planned in the Małopolska in the frame of festival, such as fairs, conferences, seminars, trainings and workshops.
Małopolska Innovation Fair, an event associated with the Festival will be held on June 5, 2013 in the center of Kraków.

The Festival is organised by the Małopolska Region.

SMART+ is a project for the support of innovations in small businesses that is funded by the INTERREG IV C Programme. Six partner regions from Spain, Germany, Poland, Greece, Romania and Bulgaria aim at promoting RTD and innovation in small businesses.

The goals of SMART+ include:

  • to foster the participation of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in networks and clusters,
  • to provide them with better access to RTD and business partners,
  • to develop strategies for the marketing of innovative ideas,
  • to improve the capacities of employees in SMEs for RTD and innovation management through training and the support of experts.
